Congratulations to Nova drive presenter Tim Blackwell and his wife Monique who have welcomed their second child.

At 3.9kgs both newborn and mum are doing well.

Tim already has a 2 year-old daughter Bo.

Unlike the new Princess of Cambridge, who was born at the same time as Tim’s little man he has a name: Alfie Hawthorn Blackwell.

While Tim spends some time with his family, Kate, Tim & Marty will still be heard on air this afternoon from 4.00pm with the help of Jaben Ryan.
