This morning Tommy Little revealed to Nova listeners that he will not be returning to Nova breakfast in 2016.

With Chrissie Swan already announced as Meshel’s replacement in the new year, Nova is still yet to reveal her new co-host.

Today though, was about celebrating Meshel & Tommy and the many exciting things they did during their time together including, diving with sharks, taken listeners on an end-of-year trip to Los Angeles and in a convoy of campervans around New Zealand and even opened their own Chubby Pidgeon restaurant in celebration of Heston Blumenthal.

This morning Tommy told listeners:

“I did want to take a chance to just say thank you to all the staff here. We’ve got a fantastic team around us. I’ve had such a great two years doing the show, I’ve had such a great two years with you (Meshel). Let’s celebrate what’s been a really great time and let’s smash out some really funny shows.” 

NOVA Entertainment COO, Louise Higgins said:
