Tones And I is the apple of radio’s eye

Aussie superstar Tones And I scores the highest debut on the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart with new single ‘Eyes Don’t Lie’. It’s the first taste of new music from Tones in 2022, and follows previous single ‘Cloudy Day’ which peaked at No. 8.

Melbourne’s KIIS1011 led the spins tally for ‘Eyes Don’t Lie’ with 26, while Hit104.7 (19), i98 (16) and Hit106.9 (16) also backed the song. Nova is yet to fully commit ‘Eyes’ to the playlist with most spins occurring at Nights.

Nova instead directed much of their attention to new music from Joel Corry, David Guetta & Bryson Tiller. ‘What Would You Do?’ lands at No. 35 this week with 220 spins, 79.5% of those coming from the Nova network.

Supafly & De Funk’s familar-sounding bop ‘Pleasure Love’ advances into the Top 40, increasing spins by +123.6% to slot in at No. 20. KIIS Sydney and Melbourne accounted for 22.5% of all spins this week.
