November is Triple J’s ‘Ausmusic Month’ and at the centre of this are the J Awards.

Today, the station has announced the nominees for the ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’. The nominees are chosen for their incredible achievements over the last 12 months and the award goes to the Unearthed artist demonstrating the most musical growth and potential to contribute to Australian music.

The 2013 J Award Unearthed Artist of the Year nominees are Remi, Jack Onassis, Dustin Tebbutt, Wave Racer, Jeremy Neale, SAFIA and Tigertown.

Stay tuned to Triple J as they announce the remaining Australian Album of the Year nominees on Monday November 11 and Australian Video of the Year nominees on Thursday November 14. The winners will be announced at the J Awards in Sydney on Friday November 22nd and broadcast live on triple j and triple j Unearthed from 5pm.
