Triple M Brisbane planning “shortened” music shifts

radioinfo reported earlier this week on the departure of Hot Tomato Drive Announcer  and Channel Nine presenter, Luke Bradnam who will join Triple M Brisbane’s on air line up in 2017.

According to Triple M Luke isn’t replacing anyone on-air but rather “there will just be shortened music shifts“.

Bradnam’s (left) radio career began back in the 90’s at B105 as a Black Thunder Pilot.

Triple M Brisbane’s Content Director David Rymer, who has worked with Luke for several years, said:

“He’s a unique talent, a true Queenslander and an outstanding radio talent.

“It will be terrific building a local show around him and offering Brisbane a real point of difference. Now Brisbane will not only continue to wake up to Marto and Ed for Breakfast but will have Luke on the early drive home”.

Luke will join Triple M Brisbane on January 9th, 2017.

The hunt for Luke’s replacement on the Gold Coast has begun.
