Triple M Brisbane welcomes Nick Cody for The Big Breakfast

Brisbane’s number 1 breakfast show reveals its line-up for 2019

Brisbane is preparing for a big breakfast in 2019 with hotter-than-a-summer-BBQ comedian, actor, beer ambassador and knockabout bloke Nick Cody joining Marto and Robin Bailey from 5.30am to 9am weekday mornings on Triple M’s The Big Breakfast.

In addition, Triple M Brisbane’s sporting all-rounder Ben ‘Dobbo’ Dobbin will present breaking sports news throughout the show.

So, where’s Lawrence “The Moonman” Mooney?

While not appearing on the Big Breakfast in a full-time role, he has left his address book behind, meaning the former Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull, Rusty Crowe, Finance Minister Mathias Cormann, Shane Bourne and Prince Charles are likely to be staying around on Triple M Brisbane’s Big Breakfast.

Lawrence Mooney says, “I’ve known Nick Cody for over a decade and he’s quickly becoming the funniest comedian in Australia.”

Triple M listeners would know Nick Cody from his comedy tours and his TV appearances having made his US television debut on Conan O’Brien’s late-night talk show and becoming only the fourth Australian to do so, he’s also one of only a handful of Aussies to be invited to perform stand-up on the US television network, Comedy Central.

Nick recently became the face of Carlton Dry, after Carlton United Breweries made the red bearded wonder their very own Ambassador, appearing on many commercials for the brand and featuring on their massive State of Origin ad campaign.

The announcement comes as the Big Breakfast holds the number one position in Breakfast and Triple M Brisbane is number 1 overall.
