Triple M NRL Dead Set Legends take a win just days before the NRL Grand Final

As this weekend’s NRL Grand Final approaches Triple M has become the “hip replacement” for NRL radio listeners according to the latest Gfk radio ratings, beating its AM counterparts for all footy fans under 55 years.

Triple M’s call team is home to current and former legends of the game including Sterlo, Matty and Joey Johns, Ryan Girdler, Gorden Tallis, MG, Wendell Sailor, Blues skipper Paul Gallen and Bill “Hollywood” Harrigan.

Add to that Ray “Rabs” Warren kicking off every weekend of footy with a Dead Set Sydney institution,Triple M’s Dead Set Legends – now in its 15th year

On the eve of the Grand Final, Triple M Sydney has claimed victory of the 2014 NRL season for an audience “still young enough to kick a footy around with their kids.”

In survey 6 Triple M Sydney is number one in breakfast for men 18 – 44 with The Grill Team hosted by Matty Johns, Mark Geyer and Gus Worland. It also reaches more men 18 – 54 across the workday than any other station, and is the number two brand online and on social. 

Triple M Sydney Content Director Jamie Angel said: “It’s been a ripping year for the M’s both on and off the air. The team’s been firing and once we make it through Sunday we’ll get together on MadMonday and possibly Tuesday for a few frothees and celebrate the season.”
