NRL heavy weights Matty Johns, Paul Kent and Gorden Tallis are set to head up a new Sunday radio show on Triple M, just in time for the upcoming footy season.
The show will lead into to the station’s Sunday call of the match-of-the-round.
Johns told the Daily Telegraph today:
“When I sat back and looked at it, I reckon this timeslot is the epicentre of the rugby league week leading into the big Sunday game. With Kenty and Gordie, you’re going to get two of the most forthright opinions in the game and then we’re aiming to have all the news from Friday and Saturday wrapped-up.
“It will be issues based, we’ll be at the ground wherever the big games are more often than not and we’ll be heavily focused on football and previewing the football. Of course we’ll have a bit of a laugh and things like that along the way but that will take care of itself. We’re hoping it’s going to be a strong show.”
