In the run up to next month’s Tamworth Country Music Festival, country superstar Troy Cassar-Daley has paid a visit to long running 88.9fm/99.5fm Breakfast host and good mate Brian ‘Howdy’ Howard.

Troy also surprised listeners by taking their calls, as they tried to win $1,300 by guessing the Secret Voice.

As the Sustainability Ambassador for the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Troy has visited schools in the city this week, encouraging students to keep the streets clean by disposing of their rubbish properly during the festival, and to bring along a reusable water bottle.

88.9fm/99.5fm is again gearing up for the coverage of the festival, which attracted over 100,000 visitors earlier this year.
