Former on-air colleagues The Two Murrays are now rivals.

Murray Wilton hosts evenings on 2GB solo these days, after Murray Olds was axed in the wake of changes at the station earlier this year. But Murray Olds is now at 2UE and has taken over the 8-9 pm show after Jon Harker’s departure from the station last month.

2UE was hoping to convince Stan Zemanek to start earlier, after an elongated sports show, but when Zemanek said ‘no’ it was over to former evening host Olds to take over the reins.

Now the Two Murrays are heard up against each other in the evening shifts of Sydney’s commercial talk stations.
