An announcer, who wore a ski mask into a Texas convenience store, as part of an on air prank, has been charged with making a terrorist threat.

Dan Chappell, known on radio KHFI as ‘Lunchbox’, walked around the store and went ‘live’ to air with a phone, before buying a pack of gum and leaving.

He was arrested a short distance from the store.

Chappell faces up to a year in jail and a $5550 fine, even though no verbal threats were made.
