Jim Sherlock, the film publicist, critic, director, historian and frequent film reviewer for 3AW, has died. Tony Moclair informed listeners on his show this afternoon, having talked often with Sherlock when hosting overnights.

Sherlock’s discovery of cinema was part of a deeply moving The Age article in 2022.
