Writer, journalist, producer, cartoonist, political advisor, comedian, father and husband Michael (Mike) Kerr died on July 10, aged 74. Originally from Hobart, Mike’s career took him around Australia and the globe working in marketing and trade, before returning to Tasmania 20 years ago.

Mike wrote for publications like The Gazette, The Mercury and The Kingborough Chronicle while also being a regular presence with ABC Radio Tasmania.

A celebration of his life was held on Friday July 24.
