Paul E Routledge, a long time volunteer and presenter with Sutherland Shire community station 2SSR, passed away on 13th August after a short illness.
Paul E, as he was known, hosted Smooth Jazz on a Sunday evening between 6-7 pm. He marked 30 years of the program in February 2023, making him one of 2SSR’s original presenters. He was also on the Training Committee for many years, nurturing and teaching radio presentation skills to many announcers both past and present.
Paul took me under his wing when I first started SSR way back in the mid-90's. I never forgot the advice he gave me about presenting. A big loss to SSR & in general.
