Vision Australia Radio is once again presenting a Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Festival broadcast, Friday December 2. 

Coinciding with International Day of People with Disability (December 3), the festival celebrates physically active lifestyles for all abilities.

It offers the opportunity for everyone to explore and experience accessible and inclusive sport and recreation through hands-on activities and information sharing.

This year’s broadcast will be the third time the network will broadcast alongside the event and is also on the back of winning the Excellence in Outside Broadcasting category at the 2022 Community Radio Awards for the 2021 broadcast.

Vision Australia Radio presenters will be staging this year’s special broadcast, with interviews from blind sports ambassadors, festival organisers, representatives from inclusive sporting codes and music by blind and low vision musicians.
