The Voice of Rugby Joins 2UE

One of Australia’s leading sports broadcasters, Gordon Bray, will spearhead 2UE’s coverage of this year’s Rugby Super 12 competition.

Bray, who called his first rugby test in 1976, will re-establish his association with
2UE when he calls the Waratahs – Sharks match from Aussie Stadium this
Saturday night.

2UE general manager Bob Miller told radioinfo: “We are extremely fortunate to have a broadcaster of Gordon’s calibre lead our
rugby coverage this year.

“2UE is the only place you’ll hear the Waratah’s home games broadcast live,
and Gordon’s passion for the game, teamed with co-commentator John Gibbs,
will ensure our listeners are on the edge of their seats.”

Bray has called more than 270 rugby internationals, including all five Rugby
World Cups, and says he’s delighted to be back at 2UE.

“I called the World Cup from South Africa in 1995 on 2UE, so it’ s great to renew
the association,”
says Bray.

Gordon Bray and John Gibbs will call the Waratahs-Sharks match on 2UE from 7pm this Saturday February 28.
