Seriously? This is regarded as broadcastable?
These AI platforms keep delivering up this utter tripe and unfortunately, clients believe it's worth putting to air.
The old style human radio copywriter would be ashamed and embarrassed to send this cliche riddled crap back to the client.
All this current AI frenzy is doing, is lowering standards - in the end that will hurt radio effectiveness and reduce the long-term viability of radio as an advertising medium. So far, I have not seen AI produce a scrap of radio copy that is in any way engaging, unique or creative.
Maybe this is the result of years and years of the radio industry, allowing clients to dictate what a station's ad breaks will sound like, and too few Account Managers pushing back when clients decide to make those 13 minutes an hour pretty much intolerable for the listener.
One might call it the HN effect - where the short term gain of a fat commission cheque overrides the long-term health of this medium. We are all guilty - GMs chasing budgets, SMs chasing bonuses, AMs chasing a quick sale and writers who can't be bothered advocating for decent creative. And of course, clients who know how to run their business but know nothing about advertising, radio or the power of good audio.
