Two weeks ago, people in the Illawarra were left puzzled by a black shipping container with a question mark on it, which had popped up in Unanderra.

After multiple reports and guesses as to what it might be, this morning Wave FM’s Lyndal and Crammy were abducted by pirates while they were in the middle of a live talk break and dragged into a waiting van.

They were then whisked away to Five Islands Road and plonked directly in front of the shipping container with an elaborate pirate theme set-up, where they had to broadcast the rest of their show.

Much to Lyndal and Crammy’s surprise – and in a radio first for the Illawarra – the shipping container was revealed to be Wave 96.5’s Shipload of Cash.

From Monday, listeners will have the opportunity to guess how much is inside!
