Hughesy and Kate are promising to “get into your feed” this year as they gear up for their new drive show on the Hit Network, which begins next week.
The pair left KIIS last year, with Group PD Duncan Campbell telling radioinfo:
“The changing of Hughesy and Kate was never part of the plan. We started negotiations with him and then with her with the full intention of re-signing them. But then Kate told us that she could only give us a year because she wanted to take the family to live in Europe for a year in 2019.”
In the social media promo, Hughesy and Kate tell their fans:
“We’re going to be doing what we do, the way we do it, and the way you like it… we’re going to forcing our way into your feed.
We’ll ask politely, we’re not Harvey Weinstein…
“We’re going to have a massive year of online connection with you…”
The post has had over 11,000 views since it was uploaded today and many supportive comments from fans anxiously waiting for the return of the pair on their new network.
The pair will be up against Will and Woody on their old network KIIS, as well as Kate, Tim and Marty on Nova and the new Kennedy Molloy show on Triple M.
