Which government campaign is biggest on radio?

Although nowhere near as prolific as the previous government in the latter part of the Howard years, the federal government remains one of Radio’s biggest advertisers by virtue of the diverse number of campaigns that it runs simultaneously.

The table below, provided by AirCheck shows the top ten government campaigns that aired on Radio through April 2010. The Digital TV Campaign had the greatest amount of airplay accounting for 34% of the Top 10.

The data was taken from all commercial stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.

Although Defence Force jobs take up the last four places with the Air Force at number seven, if combined, the Forces would come in at third place with 796 instances.
