I get the impression that Triple M stations across the country have decided to go rogue with their promotions and prizes – and I’m loving it! I don’t know who came up with Brisbane’s Keep a Finger on Meninga where the last person to leave their finger on the great Mal Meninga‘s statue won from the breakfast team of Marto, Margaux and Dan the last two tickets for State of Origin III, but I laughed out loud, especially at the fellow who decided that his hand needed to be behind on Mal’s behind! Now Triple M Perth are offering the worst prize ever, inspired by a comp they ran some years ago where $15K was given away, only problem was that it was all in coins and embedded in concrete. The ‘winner’ was given a hammer and invited to hack their way to the small (change) fortune.
