Who said a Classical Music station had to be serious?

Well, it’s not Nigel Kennedy, the acclaimed concert violinist who looks more like a punk rocker on stage that believes classical music should be serious.

He famously said, “Just because I play music by dead composers doesn’t mean I have to dress like I’m going to a funeral.”

But funnier than that is this musician who multitracked Pachelbel’s Canon with a rubber chicken.

London based Classic FM looks for the funniest from the web each week and came up with this.

On it’s own website it previews the piece saying: There’s a particularly beautiful, squawk-filled moment around 1:51, when the final two lines of semiquavers join together.

And the title of the piece? Pachelbel’s Canon in C(hicken).
