Who will pick you up at 3pm?

Meshel Laurie will team up with Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond as the new The 3PM Pick Up team on the KIIS Network in 2016.

Created to give that all important energetic lift we all need at that time of the afternoon, The 3PM Pick Up With Meshel & Monty will be an hour of fun stories, hot topics of the day, alongside music KIIS fans love.

As announced in October, Meshel will be waking up with Melbourne on KIIS 101.1 as part of the new Matt & Meshel breakfast show before hitting the airwaves again in the afternoon with Monty for The 3PM Pick UP.

Meshel has been a familiar voice on Melbourne radio since 2005 on Nova and is a regular on national television as a co-host on The Project and This Week Live. Meshel is also a mother to twins – who keep her on her toes.

Known for her frank, fresh opinions and sense of fun, Monty Dimond joined the KIIS Network in 2014 as a co-host on The 3PM Pick UP and has also appeared as a guest on well-known TV shows, including The Project and Have You Been Paying Attention?

While juggling her media commitments, Monty also loves being a mum to two young boys, Baxter and Arlo.

ARN’s National Content Director, Duncan Campbell said he was excited to announce Meshel would be joining Monty on The 3PM Pick Up.

“2016 is going to be another competitive year for radio, particularly in Sydney and Melbourne, and we are excited to be adding yet another strong on-air team to the national KIIS Network. I know our loyal listeners are going to love the new team of Meshel & Monty, who will bring a fresh new energy to our very popular 3PM Pick Up show.”

The announcement comes as Chemist Warehouse partners with The 3PM Pick Up for the third consecutive year. Appealing to and recognised by Australian women and families, Chemist Warehouse is Australia’s largest pharmacy retailer and is in the top ten retail media spenders Australia wide.

Of the ongoing partnership, ARN National Sales Director Matt Granger said: “We are delighted that our partnership with Chemist Warehouse continues to include their sponsorship of The 3pm Pick Up on the KIIS network. The show offers tailored, engaging content for its target female audience while delivering our clients the opportunity to connect with audiences at a key time of day via a unique integrated national platform.”
