WIN sale almost definite: papers

The Fairfax press is today reporting WIN Corporation will either be floated on the stock exchange or sold for around $1 billion.

WIN is Australia’s largest regional television network and owns radio licences i98 Wollongong and C91.3 Campbelltown.

Company CEO George Papadopoulos yesterday confirmed owner Bruce Gordon is considering a number of offers, including the approach by Macquarie Media Group previously reported on radioinfo.

Papadopoulos also confirmed the company is in discussions with Goldman Sachs JBWere about a potential IPO.
