A Sydney couple with two young children has picked up a cool $50 000 in WSFM’s ‘Write Your Own Cheque’ promotion.

Natalie and Joey Jolly of Quakers Hill had a surprise visit just before 9.00 this morning from Jonesy’s occasional breakfast co-host, Tanya Bulmer, who broke the news to the somewhat hysterical couple.

They entered originally with a wish to put the big prize towards a home loan but – since today’s win – the ‘to do’ list has grown to include a holiday and ‘things around the house’.

For the past two months, WSFM has been invited listeners to return a coupon, complete with details of what they would spend $50 000 on.

Numerous times each day, names were called and people had 10 minutes to phone in for a $100 prize and to go into the big draw for the $50 000.
