The Australian Film, Television and Radio School welcomes Fyona Smith to the team as Senior Radio Lecturer. She comes to AFTRS with a wealth of experience from Southern Cross Austereo, as Triple M Localworks Network Music Director, Presenter of Triple M Localworks ‘School of Rock’ national radio show and host of Southern Cross Television’s Australian music TV show “School of Rock Ozmade”. Over summer Fyona has been also working with the Australian Traffic Network covering Sydney’s traffic on radio & CH10.
AFTRS Director of Radio, Mark Collier, says “Fyona is a strong addition to our team, with a wealth of contemporary, commercial industry experience. Her broadcasting and cross-platform skills and energy will add further to the strength of our radio courses in 2012.”
