Brisbane radio has a new jewel in its radio crown, Ruby Slipperz, an announcer who’s worked across South East Queensland over the past 15 years, has joined 96.5FM. The local entertainer and mother-of-two is back behind the microphone after a three-year stint on the local Ipswich radio station. “Joining 96five is a perfect fit. It fits where I’m at. It’s family, it’s community, it’s good music,” said Ruby. Program Director, Liam Renton, is excited to welcome a new member to the radio family. “We’ve been a fan of Ruby’s work for years. She’s a real radio gem.”
