Geoff Hill has been appointed Director of Trading for Austereo Network Sales. Austereo Group Sales Operations Manager Cameron Plant says Hill will continue to work in his current role of Sydney Sales Director, but will also assume a focus on the trading and contract negotiations with Austereo’s major clients, agencies and buying groups.
Plant says: “In the past few years, most of the major media buyers have appointed trading directors who negotiate on behalf of their clients. Geoff’s appointment will streamline our relationships with Australia’s media buyers… [He] has more than 30 years experience in the media and brings a level of expertise and experience arguably unmatched in the Australian radio industry.”
