Joel Helmes has accepted a full-time position in the 2UE newsroom. Joel has most recently been heard filling in for Ian Maurice on 4BC‘s night show as well as being the host of the popular “Behind the Wheel” motoring show which now airs daily on more than 30 commercial stations across Australia. He says heading back to Sydney is a dream come true and will mean an expansion for Helmes Media Solutions which will now have both a Sydney and Brisbane presence.
