John “Brenno” Brennan is celebrating 57 consecutive years in the radio business this week. He is the only PD to have taken both a music (2SM) and talk (2UE & 2GB) radio stations to number one. 2GB’s Digital project manager (and Brenno’s son) Peter Brennan says: “We’re fairly certain this is an Australian record.” Congratulations John!
