Macquarie Southern Cross has announced its current Benchwarmers team, Ant and Becks, will be leaving the network to join ARN’s Mix network. Another Benchwarmers team is currenty on the reserve bench and will replace them next year.
Group PD Rod Brice said: “As would seem to be our lot once again our talent pool has been poached, this time by the Australian Radio Network. While we will miss Ant’s laugh and interaction with the audience and Becks dress sense and drive for the best on-air product everyday, we wish them all the very best in the next move in their career to a new network drive show on MIX FM Sydney and Melbourne in 2010.”
