Triple M Sydney has welcomed Rod ‘Love Rod’ Maldon 1-4pm weekdays. Starting in radio at the age of 16, ‘Love Rod’ hails from WA but has worked extensively, including a stint as Assistant Content Director and drive announcer for Dubai 92 station last year, and across the Southern Cross Austereo network throughout Australia, including Assistant Music Director and the afternoon shift with The Fox and SAFM. ‘Love Rod’ follows The Grill Team with Matty Johns, Mark Geyer and Gus Worland for breakfast from 6-9am and Chris ‘Becko’ Beckhouse in the mornings from 9am-1pm. Starting this afternoon is ‘Rush Hour’ with Ray ‘Rabs’ Warren and Dan Ginnane to run over the NRL finals season from 4-6pm weekdays rounded out by Roy & HG 4-7pm Fridays.
