Gold 104.3‘s The Christian O’Connell Show has decided rip aside the veil and allow listeners to be a fly on the wall as to what happens after 9am, after the mics and turned off and After the Show in a brand new podcast.

O’Connell says at the outset that After the Show is a recording of their post-show meeting between he and his producers Caitlin McArthur and Riordan Lee and an opportunity for listeners to see show concepts come together from an idea to implementation, or in some cases, into a bin bearing the show logo.

A clever idea to perhaps extend the reach of the Christian O’Connell Show podcast I listened to the first ten minutes of the debut episode to see if it was really fly on the wall stuff. It was nearly 4 mins before things really started, after an intro from Christian plus a lot of advertising. Then, forgive me team, I had to turn off as it felt like I was sitting in a team Zoom meeting for a company I no longer worked for!
