The Hamish and Andy podcast returns this Thursday March 6 from a three month hiatus. If that feels longer than normal, you’re right, although the pair did lobby the UN to end their ‘mandated break’. You can watch below:
Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have been busy in the US over the festive period setting up an Australian pub in New York, called Old Mates Pub, near the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan. Opening night was packed with celeb mates and expats with a queue out the door. By 9:30pm, in great Aussie fashion, the pub had no beer.
The other pub owners include surfer Mick Fanning, basketballer Patty Mills, tennis star Ash Barty, Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins and even Hugh Jackman. Looks like a wild night.
Now it’s back home, back to the family for Hamish and a wedding to plan for Andy, and back into podcasting in the laid back fashion that is their signature. The February Triton Australian Podcast Ranker will be out next week.
