Ten minute news bulletins are not new to 2GB and 2UE. Up until the early 2000s, for example 2GB's midday and 2200 news bulletins were 10 minutes. Then up to the late 1980s, 2GB's news bulletins were half an hour at midday and 1700. Now the radio bulletins are at most five minutes.
Given that Nine Media's radio stations are resuming the 10 minute news in podcast form, why can't listeners to the terrestrial broadcasts, 2GB/3AW/4BC/6PR benefit from the 10 minute midday news podcast?
