Where’s the cake? 300 episode of the Food Bytes podcast

Food Bytes, the delectable podcast hosted Sarah Patterson celebrates 300 episodes this week with Australian playwright David Williamson the guest sharing stories ranging from Graham Kennedy and John Howard on the set of The Club to his latest play ‘The Great Divide with, of course, some food talk in between.

Food Bytes started life six years ago as a weekly newspaper column before becoming a podcast and later a weekly radio show on the ACE Radio Network in regional Victoria and New South Wales. Guests have include foodies like Maggie Beer, Melissa Leong and Silvia Colloca plus radio, film, music and sporting identities including Jimmy and Jane Barnes, John Aloisi, Shane Jacobson, Tony Armstrong, Rob Sitch and many more.

Co host and producer Kevin Hillier said:

“We always thought taking the best bits of our weekly interviews and blending it with great music would make a very engaging radio hour, and it has. ACE has been incredibly supportive and they love the show, which fits perfectly into their Sunday morning line up. Sure, food starts the conversation, but it’s a people show.”  

The 300th episode of Food Bytes is out this Thursday.
