Jonesy and Amanda complete WSFM’s relocation to North Sydney

After two decades in Macquarie Park WSFM‘s Brendan Jones and Amanda Keller have officially lifted off from ARN’s new state-of-the-art studios in North Sydney, the final piece on the network’s relocations. The duo were joined in studio by Shannon Noll performing his 2005 hit “Lift” to celebrate the move and mark the year Jonesy and Amanda started broadcasting together.

Keller said of their new home:

“Starting the day with our listeners is what breakfast radio is all about, and now we have a front-row seat to watch it all unfold. Crossing the Harbour Bridge to work every day feels like a dream, with views of the city’s iconic landmarks.  After 19 years of broadcasting together, this new, high-tech studio feels like a big step forward for us.”

Jonesy added:

“Broadcasting from our new studios feels fantastic. I remember as a kid visiting 2SM, not far from here, and gazing out at the Harbour Bridge, dreaming of doing this for a living. And now, here we are, living that dream, with that very same view in front of us. We’re excited to take our listeners on this journey and keep delivering the humor and genuine passion they love.”

This move follows the relocation of Kyle & Jackie O last month and Ugly Phil kicking things off for WSFM last week. ARN’s entire Sydney business is now settled into the new premises across three floors of the purpose-built facilities at Coca-Cola Place. Kyle and Jackie O launch into Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1, from their new studios on Monday April 29.

Jonesy & Amanda are on WSFM breakfast each weekday morning from 6-9am, with JAM Nation also airing weeknights from 6-7pm, or via ARN’s free iHeart app.

By the way Amanda, I love the nod to Kate Bush and Wuthering Heights with your choice of brooch. Wither, or perhaps wuther, did you find it?
