ARN have announced via an ASX statement that Jackie O has given notice and that she “cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands.” Their KIIS breakfast show will be taken off-air, effective immediately.
In the statement ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd and also provided written notice to Kyle stating that his behaviour during the show on 20 February 2026 is an act of serious misconduct and therefore a breach of ARN’s services agreement with Quasar Media.
Kyle has been given 14 days to remedy this breach with the show off air for that period. If after the fortnight Kyle has not remedied the breach then ARN will terminate the agreement altogether. Jackie has been offered the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.
Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small has stepped in as interim host. GfK Survey 1 for 2026 is due out on Thursday March 19.
