The Joel Creasey Show officially launches on Nova

The Joel Creasey Show has officially premiered nationally across the Nova Network, going to air at 1pm today.

The show marks a high energy debut Creasey in his new daily lunchtime role, setting the tone for what he described as a “rip snorting laugh together” through the toughest part of the day.

Describing the show as “kind of like a zoo where I am both tour guide and enclosure inhabitant,” Creasey promised listeners a chaotic, unfiltered, but ultimately uplifting hour, adding that on the other side of the “double frosted glass there are rangers on the dump button and the taser.”

He framed the show as a “triple shot espresso” for audiences navigating the everyday grind, leaning into humour, pop culture and spontaneous guest moments.

The first show featured Nova presenter and TV personality Mel Tracina, who joined Creasey for the debut of his new segment Joel’s Take, unpacking a listener dilemma in a fast paced, comedic exchange.

Singer Dannii Minogue called in to offer her congratulations, also revealing she will be the first official in studio guest this Friday.

Another Nova colleague, Chrissie Swan, also dropped past the studio to celebrate the launch, arriving in a standout jacket she revealed had only been worn twice before, once to see Taylor Swift and once for Joel Creasey.

Chrissie stayed on to join the first ever Scroll Update, a new segment featuring a real life scroll as Joel runs through the latest in pop culture headlines and online moments.

The Joel Creasey Show can be heard from 1pm to 2pm on the Nova Network nationally. Listeners can stream the show live or catch up with the daily podcast by downloading the Nova Player
