Golden Days Radio 3GDR
I'm the President and Program Manager of Golden Days Radio for Senior Citizens Inc., a community based radio station in Glen Huntly Victoria. We have about 80 volunteers who keep the station on air 24/7. We play melodic music from the 1930s to 1960s together with radio serials, musicals, operettas, ballads and light classics. This is radio as it used to be with the songs, singers and sounds that shaped our lives. We also "stream" our signal around the world. Away from radio l am also involved with steam railway preservation (Puffing Billy) in the Dandenongs, so life is never dull.
