Rush Hour goes from 4 to 6 at Triple M

Buoyed by the recent rise in the ratings of Triple M’s Hot Breakfast with Eddie McGuire in Melbourne, the station is cementing the blokey feel with the long awaited induction of James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless into Drive.

The duo’s show, labeled Rush Hour, starts Tuesday and goes 4-6pm sandwiched between Roy & HG – Mondays and Fridays.

Brayshaw or JB, as he’s been known for years on Triple M Footy and The Cage, is synonymous with sport in Melbourne as the co-host of the AFL Footy Show, host of The Sunday Footy Show and part of Nine’s commentary team for cricket and the recent Winter Olympics.

Billy was chosen as the loveable larrikin, the bloke that all Triple M listeners want to have a beer with, star of The Footy Show and unofficial mayor of Geelong.

Austereo General Manager, Ben Amarfio said, “We’re ecstatic to have JB and Billy joining Triple M’s drive slot, they’ll be an hilarious and entertaining combination and an important part of our on-air team.”
