During the past few years, the only way New Year’s Eve disco bunnies could hear the soundtrack to the City of Sydney’s fireworks extravaganza was by tuning into 2UE on AM.

This year AM and FM will join forces as the official media partners for Sydney’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations, with Nova 969 also giving partygoers the official firecracker soundtrack for the 9pm and Midnight displays.

Nova will also have its team of Casanovas on the streets, and be broadcasting other information such as road closures, traffic problems, the best spots to park and the best places to see the fireworks.
