Talk 1116 3AK has moved into new broadcast studios at 473 Swan Street Richmond.

Following the relocation from St Kilda Rd to Richmond and a temporary studio on location in June 2002, Talk 1116 3AK has now moved into new, state of the art facilities.

Constructed “in record time of just four months by Broadcast Solutions Company Commcord Communications, the new facility sets an industry precedent in studio construction and operation.”

The facilities contain two fully operational broadcast studios, Talk Show Lounge, back up studio, two production suites, and a digital news department for the broadcast of Victorian Radio Network News.

“Its an exciting time for the Victorian Radio Network” said Program Director Denis O’Kane. “The new studio complex will be the envy of our competition and will complement our excellent On-Air lineup”.
