ABC to broadcast SA Votes Leaders Debate

On Saturday March 15, South Australia goes to the polls.
Pundits are suggesting it will be a close run thing.
 
ABC News will broadcast the official leaders’ debate of the election, live from the network’s Adelaide studios on Monday February 17. Premier Jay Weatherill and Opposition Leader Steven Marshall will go head to head, kicking off the first week of the election campaign.

 Highly respected AM presenter Chris Uhlmann will host the debate, guiding the two leaders as they field questions from a studio audience at the ABC’s Collinswood studios.

The debate will air in South Australia on ABC 891 Adelaide ABC 1 and ABC Local Radio; nationally on ABC News 24 and online at abc.net.au/news.
