With spring in the air, ABC Collinswood, S.A. will be transformed into a giant garden market full of green bargains and helpful tips. The ABC Gardeners’ Market Car Park Caper is a biannual grassroots, community market that gives gardening enthusiasts access to a multitude of local growers and associations. In nearly twenty years the event has raised over $180,000 for South Australian charities.

891 ABC Adelaide’s Weekend presenter, Ashley Walsh will broadcast live  Talkback Gardening with gardening guru Jon Lamb plus home hints advice with builder Rose Squire.

Listeners can stay for breakfast, brunch or lunch as there’ll be plenty of food stalls and coffee too.

Entry is by gold coin donation.

The spring event on October 8 will see proceeds go to Country Fire Service Foundation’s CFS Future Leaders Grant Program. The Foundation supports CFS volunteers and their families in times of great need.
