After a career spanning three decades, ABC PM Presenter Linda Mottram will retire this year.

Linda is a Walkley-award-winning journalist with roles including ABC Radio Sydney presenter, EP of RN Breakfast, editorial trainer, foreign correspondent and, most recently, host of the PM program and podcast This Week. 

Originally from Perth, Mottram began her career at West Australian Newspapers before joining the ABC. 

Later, during her time as a foreign correspondent, Linda covered major stories across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Pacific which saw her win a Walkley award.

Linda won a Walkley Award in 1999 for her coverage of the Meja massacre during the conflict in Kosovo, taking out the Radio Current Affairs category award.

There will be a tribute to Linda’s career on PM at 5 pm today.
