Adam Lambert gave an electrifying performance at last night’s Take 40 Live Lounge.
In the performance, presented by Debit MasterCard, the global superstar held the intimate crowd of 300 spellbound as he belted out songs from his latest album Trespassing, interspersed with the razor sharp wit he’s become known for.
The crowd glammed up for his exclusive show and Lambert did not disappoint – performing Never Close Our Eyes, Shady, Kicking In, Trespassing and Whataya Want From Me along with a stunning cover of Bob Marley’s Is This Love.
During the Q and A, he answered questions from the crowd, talked about how much he loved seeing people enjoy his music and even accepted a packet of Tim Tams.
Adam Lambert shot to fame on American Idol Season 8, and his debut album released in 2009 reached No. 5 on the national ARIA Album Chart and went platinum in Australia, selling nearly 2 million copies worldwide.
The Take 40 Live Lounge launched six years ago and has presented some of Australia’s favourite international and local performers including; LMFAO, Jessie J, Panic! At the Disco, Little Red, Washington, Maroon 5, Jason Derulo, Kelly Clarkson and Good Charlotte.
