All in Media (AIM), part of Xperi’s family of companies, has announced that its Rapid software solution has been selected by towerCast to power DAB+ visual services in France. 

In what represents Rapid’s first entry into the country, it was chosen to manage DAB’s Dynamic Label Segment (scrolling text), slideshow, and Electric Program Guide (EPG) services on towerCast multiplexes in Lyon, France.
 
AIM’s Rapid software enables radio stations to broadcast visual services across DAB+ and other platforms.
 
Whether gathering information from news and social media feeds, web data or from automation or EPG systems, Rapid allows broadcasters to manage their visual content in an efficient and cost-effective way.
 
The implementation of Rapid allows broadcasters to take full advantage of digital broadcast capabilities by enhancing the user experience.
 
towerCast is a major French broadcasting services operator and covers more than 85% of the French population with radio broadcasting services and has been a recognized player of the DAB venture since 2016 for the radios of Radio France in the East of Paris, and since December 2018 for 26 radios in Lyon.
