Another example of why radio announcers shouldn’t make tattoo bets

Last Friday whilst chatting to the Star 104.5 newsreader about the weekend in sport, breakfast announcer Craig Annis made the comment: “If Manly make the Grand Final I will get a tattoo on my bum.”
 
The bad news for Craig was that over the weekend Manly did make it into this Sunday’s NRL Grand Final.

So all week in preparation for the tattoo, callers had been offering suggestions like the Manly Sea Eagles logo, his family name, and even a picture of a listeners face. Craig also had to get his mums blessing for the tattoo and asked her on air to pray for him and that the tattoo goes well.
 
Craig’s co-host Mandy held him to this comment, although he did try to get her back for not letting it slide.
