Applications invited for new community licences in Queensland and off shore

The Australian Broadcasting Authority has invited applications for new community radio licences for Lord Howe Island off New South Wales, for the External Territory of Christmas Island, and for the Boonah area of Queensland.

The Lord Howe Island licence is to provide a service on 100.0 MHz on the FM band.

The Christmas Island licence is to provide a service on 102.1MHz from Drumsite and 105.3 MHz from Rocky Point.
